Brighton have only 18 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Championship.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Brighton find themselves heading towards the end of May, we continue to sit in second place in the Championship table with real designs on automatic promotion but being only a point behind Newcastle United that battle for the title itself is still on as well.
With Huddersfield Town in third place on 74 points but having a game in hand on us, certainly now is not the time for any complacency as with 18 points left to play for – 21 for Huddersfield – a couple of bad games and results could change the look of the table and we have to warn against that.
Onto Queens Park Rangers this weekend and with back to back victories secured, we look for three on the trot now to keep the pressure on.
