Brighton have only 6 points left to play for in this year’s battle for Championship promotion.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as we find ourselves almost in May, it’s still all to play for for Brighton and this is the run in we face.

Brighton:
Derby May 2 H
Middlesbrough May 7 A

It looks like it’s going down to the wire this year, but whilst the title isn’t in our hands, automatic promotion certainly is with a game in hand on Middlesbrough who are ahead of us by one point – and a game against them still to come.

Two wins means promotion and then we see if Burnley slip up.

Burnley:
QPR May 2 H
Charlton May 7 A

Middlesbrough:
Brighton May 7 H

Hull:
Rotherham May 7 H

Sheffield Wednesday:
Wolves May 7 A

Derby:
Brighton May 2 A
Ipswich May 7 H

The top three battle has already seen plenty of twists and turns and no doubt there will be a few more before the end of the season, but if we can improve that goal difference as we go, things look even more promising.
