Brighton have only 9 points left to play for in this year’s battle for Championship promotion.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as we find ourselves already through the first few April scheduled games, it’s still all to play for for Brighton and this is the run in we face.

Brighton:
Charlton Apr 23 A
Derby May 2 H
Middlesbrough May 7 A

Whether it’ll go down to the wire, or be confirmed ahead of time, here are the respective run in’s for the other sides seriously rivalling those valuable final spots.

Burnley:
Preston Apr 22 A
QPR May 2 H
Charlton May 7 A

Middlesbrough:
Ipswich Apr 23 H
Birmingham Apr 29 A
Brighton May 7 H

Hull:
Leeds Apr 23 H
Brentford Apr 26 H
Bolton Apr 30 A
Rotherham May 7 H

Sheffield Wednesday:
Derby Apr 23 A
Cardiff Apr 30 H
Wolves May 7 A

Derby:
Sheffield Wednesday Apr 23 H
Brighton May 2 A
Ipswich May 7 H

Cardiff:
Bolton Apr 23 H
Sheffield Wednesday Apr 30 A
Birmingham May 7 H

With only three games remaining in the 2015-16 season, Brighton have closed the gap on Burnley in second place and now sit level with them, and have only a two point gap to Middlesbrough in top spot in the Championship on 86 points.

It’s too soon to count the title chickens and that battle is still on for now, although one thing is for sure.

Brighton will at the very least be in the Play Off mix with the last spot taken by Sheffield Wednesday sitting on 70 points.

Hopefully those remaining games will wrap up the title win though and automatic promotion because it is still more than possible.
