Brighton’s Championship season continued with a nil-nil draw against Brentford at Griffin Park on Boxing Day.
It’s now four-matches without a win for Brighton, which could have seen another defeat suffered had it not been for David Stockdale who had several saves including a late James Tarkowski header to literally save a point with Jamie Murphy going closest for Albion.
These were the other results.

With leaders Middlesbrough seeing their game at Blackburn postponed this opened the door to Derby, who in winning two-nil against Fulham moved to the top of the Championship table.
Bolton’s troubles continued with them hammered by fellow strugglers Rotherham (who made it back-to-back wins) four-nil with Cardiff losing more ground on the play-off places with a defeat at MK Dons, who eased their troubles slightly as the year moves closer to an end.
