8 wins from 8 has left Albion on the brink of promotion

The excellent run culminated in last nights 1 nil victory over Dagenham and Redbridge. A maximum haul of 24 points was achieved a new post war record for the amount of points successfully accumulated over a single calendar month.

March was either going to make or break our promotion ambitions especially with a far tougher April on the horizon but know one expected The Albion to do quite as well as they have. The performances haven`t been great but tiredness and injuries seemed to be the contributing factor, culminating in a rather lack lustre performance in Essex last night.

The midfield especially looked tired with only the sparingly used Craig Noone turning out a performance that we have come to expect. Dicker and Bridcutt were knackered and struggling on a bobbly but not horrific pitch. The introduction of Radostin Kishishev and Matt Sparrow helped Albion gain some control against an impressive Dagenham side.

So Rochdale await next and a win would put Albion on the brink of promotion with 86 points, the total achieved by Leeds United who gained automatic promotion last season.
