Manager Chris Hughton and striker Glenn Murray have both been giving their thoughts following the disappointing loss to Brentford at the weekend.

Hosting Dean Smith’s side at the Amex Stadium for the game, Brighton went down two nil on the day and speaking to BBC Sussex Sport in his post game press interviews, Hughton had to concede that Brighton simply ‘lacked spark’ across both halves and by their standards it was a very poor performance.

As for Murray, he conceded himself that it had been a very ‘difficult afternoon’ for the players and he knew they had to be better in the future.
