Manager Chris Hughton has spoken of his disappointment at seeing Brighton crash out of the FA Cup at the third round stage to Hull City earlier today.

Making the trip tot he KC Stadium to face fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Hull, a late first half penalty in their favour decided the game, but Hughton wasn’t just disappointed with the loss – it was the overall performance and the manner of the loss that really grabbed his frustration.

Having less possession in the game, and doing very little with the 46% the side had, Brighton didn’t manage a registered shot on target across the entire 90 minutes and they were only credited with fashioning two shots in total.

Goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa and Sam Baldock were also interviewed after the game, and for Baldock especially he also spoke about returning from his injury lay off.
