Manager Chris Hughton and centre half Shane Duffy have both been speaking about a missed opportunity against Cardiff City today.

Travelling to the Cardiff City Stadium for the game, and despite being down to ten men with Gaeten Bong’s sending off late on, Brighton couldn’t get the all important goal that would’ve seen them replace Newcastle United at the top of the Championship table.

Speaking to BBC Sussex Sport in his post game press interviews, Hughton was obviously disappointed not to pick up all three points on the day and he described it as a ‘missed opportunity’.

Duffy was largely singing from the same hymnsheet when he spoke to the same outlet post game, and he admitted it wasn’t a pretty performance from us.
