Manager Chris Hughton has been giving his thoughts following tonight’s victory over Bristol City – and Anthony Knockaert features highly.

Making the trip to Ashton Gate for the game in front of the Sky Cameras, Brighton took a pretty comfortable two nil victory on the day with a stellar Steve Sidwell effort opening the scoring, before a slightly deflected Jamie Murphy effort sealed the game up on 20 minutes.

With Anthony Knockaert missing the match following the loss of his father this week, the squad showed the spirit in the camp admirably, with Knockaert’s shirt on display on the bench – and well for the who didn’t see Sidwell’s goal celebration, so photos sum it up nicely.

This wasn’t lost on Hughton who dedicated the win to our midfielder.

Scoring a leading the tribute, Sidwell also explained.

And finally, Murphy was speaking with his goalscoring return.
