Brighton held their Awards Dinner yesterday evening and Player of the Year Beram Kayal and Young Player of the Year Connor Goldson, gave their thoughts at picking up the main two gongs on the night.

Beginning with Kayal, the Israeli picked up the Player of the Year award by taking 41% of the vote, leaving Bruno in second place with 36%.

Goalkeeper David Stockdale came third, with Tomer Hemed in fourth.

Bruno did pick up a trophy for being named in the Football Manager Team of the Season, and had been named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season.

Goldson picked up Young Player of the Year, and Jiri Skalak’s strike against Queens Park Rangers was given Goal of the Year.
