Manager Chris Hughton and a couple of players give their post game thoughts following Friday evening’s victory over Leeds United.

Hosting Garry Monk’s side at the Amex Stadium for the match in front of the Sky cameras, Brighton took a two nil victory with penalty successes for Glenn Murray and Tomer Hemed, and at least until Newcastle’s victory this afternoon in the Saturday fixtures, it did put Brighton top of the Championship tree for a period.

This obviously delighted manager Chris Hughton who knew he could take a number of positives from the game.

Goalkeeper David Stockdale spoke about the strength of the defensive performance on the day as the side registered another clean sheet.

As on loan West Bromwich Albion left back Sebastien Pocognoli was just delighted to be on the pitch and get some more minutes under his belt.

And finally midfielder Oliver Norwood spoke about how ‘important’ a result it was in this year’s battle for promotion.
