Manager Chris Hughton was delighted to see Brighton get back to winning ways in last night’s game against Reading.

With back to back draws against Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End, Brighton needed to get back to winning ways in the race for automatic promotion and they did just that with a one nil win courtesy of a goal from on loan Manchester United striker James Wilson.

Speaking to the media after the full time whistle, a pleased Hughton believed the result was nothing more than Brighton deserved following the performance.

Defender Liam Rosenior was also interviewed after the full time whistle and he spoke of the squads passion and their character in taking the victory.

The three points pushed Brighton back into second place in the Championship table, ahead of Middlesbrough.
