Brighton secured a win over Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Friday.

A first half that was on to end goalless changed with a little under 10-minutes remaining when Anthony Knockaert, who has remained with Brighton despite the Newcastle rumours, had Albion one-up on 36-minutes.

The lead was doubled shortly past the midway point of the second half when Glenn Murray scored his first goal for Brighton since returning to the club on a season-loan long from Bournemouth in the summer.

Murray’s dream (second) home debut for Brighton saw him complete the scoring when grabbing his brace on 82-minutes but Albion did have to contend the disappointment of ‘keeper David Stockdale suffering a leg injury in injury-time that saw him taken off.
