It’s being reported that Brighton have made a late loan move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.

Sky Sports are reporting this afternoon that an official approach on a loan deal has gone into Newcastle from the club, and of course manager Chris Hughton knows the Dutch international well from his time at Newcastle which ended in December 2010.

Having moved to Newcastle back at the age of 17, he is now out of favour under Rafa Benitez and he spent the first half of last season out on loan with Ajax, before spending the second half of the season with AZ Alkmaar.

Should he depart Newcastle, he would leave with 185 appearances to his name.

Sky also report that our deal for Club Brugge centre back Stefano Denswil has now collapsed.
