Brighton are represented in the Football Manager Team Of The Season as selected at the Football League Awards.
Sunday evening’s ceremony at the London Hilton featured the Football Manager Team of the Season category feature for only the second time following it’s introduction the previous year.
The Team of the Season recognises the eleven best players of the campaign, along with a manager, from all three Football League divisions and is selected based on a 433 formation.
The team is selected after a local media representative – nominated by each club – selected their Team and together created the shortlists for each position in each division. A national judging panel then selected from those shortlists with Opta’s player statistics helping them to help formulate the combined team selection.
