With the make up of Premier League known for the coming 2017/18 season and the curtain long drawn on the 2016/17 year, here is how far Brighton fans will travel in the top flight campaign in the coming year.

The exact order of these trips were discovered when the fixtures were released a couple of weeks ago, but on a simple alphabetical basis travelling fans can tot up the cost of their journey’s if they want to scare themselves, based on the number of miles involved this season.

Miles are round trips and approximately rounded.

Arsenal – 156 miles
Bournemouth – 193 miles
Burnley – 593 miles
Chelsea – 127 miles
Crystal Palace – 93 miles
Everton – 542 miles
Huddersfield Town – 506 miles
Leicester City – 328 miles
Liverpool – 541 miles
Manchester City – 521 miles
Manchester United – 523 miles
Newcastle United – 690 miles
Southampton – 130 miles
Stoke City – 435 miles
Swansea City – 475 miles
Tottenham Hotspur – 170 miles
Watford – 168 miles
West Bromwich Albion – 262 miles
West Ham United – 147 miles

A rough total of 6600 with journey’s being rounded and no doubt some clever travellers know shortcuts on these numbers especially when hitting the London area.
