Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Maty Ryan beat off competition from Arsenal, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs to lift October’s PFA Player of the Month Award.
👊 Form like this meant @MatyRyan won the Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month Award for October earlier! 🇦🇺
The Albion stopper has also been nominated for the @EASPORTSFIFA award too! Voting closes at midnight!#BHAFC 🔵⚪️

Brighton’s form over the course of the last month saw us pick up three straight victories against West Ham United, Newcastle United and latterly Wolverhampton Wanderers and across those three matches, the Australian international helped himself to three clean sheets with some top quality performances between the sticks and some key saves.
The 26-year-old received 19.9% of the fan vote, tying him with Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng, but as he played more minutes across the month than the Arsenal striker, he claimed the prize.
Thank you to all those who voted, truly humbled by the achievement and support. Always another objective, working hard in preparation for Cardiff #seagulls https://t.co/UrXjXsnBha

As the above comments on show media admirably show, few in the fanbase could disagree with the victory as he was key to each game ending in our favour and long may that continue even if November saw disappointment in the Everton clash.
