At the tail end of last week Brighton and Hove Albion’s first team squad all returned for pre-season testing and then training quickly began.
Over the weekend the club’s media department got into full swing interviewing a couple of players, Glenn Murray, Anthony Knockaert and Pascal Gross were the first three up to give their thoughts as our build-up to a second year in the Premier League nears.
With some players set to enjoy an extended break owing to the summer’s World Cup in Russia, manager Chris Hughton doesn’t yet have the full group back but he has been able to welcome into the camp those newbies not otherwise engaged and that, of course, means a big welcome for one addition this summer, Florin Andone.
The Romanian international was announced back in late May as a new addition to the Amex and the 25-year-old former Deportivo La Coruna striker certainly hit the mark for fans in their initial reactions to his officially undisclosed fee transfer.

The above tweet over the weekend had plenty responding with a single word ‘welcome’.
