Brighton Under 23 defender Ben Hall has today signed a loan deal out with League Two Notts County.

The 21 year old heads to Meadow Lane until the end of the current campaign and he’ll be hoping for good game time out at the promotion chasing side.

The Northern Ireland centre half has made eleven appearances for Brighton’s Under 23 side so far this season and he arrived at the club from Motherwell back in the summer of 2016.

Speaking to the Official Site Under 23 manager Simon Rusk explained.

‘This is a great opportunity for Ben to gain experience in a first-team environment, as Notts County challenge at the top end of the league table. He`s been a regular in the heart of defence so far this season, and his form has rightly attracted interest from outside the club. It`s a fresh and exciting challenge for Ben and we wish him the best for the remainder of the season.’

Since joining the club he has a total of 29 appearances to his name for Rusk’s side, and has taken in three games in the EFL Trophy.

He has a further 18 appearances under his belt in the Scottish Premier League from his time at Motherwell back in 2015/16.
