Brighton Youngster Returns To Spain & We Continue To Have High Hopes For His Development

|

Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Bojan Radulovic has headed out for a season-long loan spell with Spanish fourth-tier side RCD Espanyol B.

The 18-year-old Serbian joined Brighton from Lleida back in January 2018 and he’s made a handful of appearances for our Under 18 and Under 23 sides so far as we took a closer look at him. Obviously, he’s yet to make a senior debut for the side, but he now heads back out to Spain to continue his development where he should get greater match minutes in a more senior competitive environment.

Despite finding game time in our youth levels limited, Simon Rusk told the Official Site that he felt it would be a good opportunity for the player, and whilst he had been with us he had shown ‘real potential for the future’ so we clearly have hopes of him still.

At Under 18 level last season he scored three times in two appearances and made one appearance at Under 21 level, so I’m assuming this is about game time more than anything else as that’s a good record but as he adjusts to the country and the club, he is still down the pecking order, so this should suit all parties.
