Following Brighton and Hove Albion’s hard-fought victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last Saturday, Shane Duffy took to social media to reflect on the game and is message struck the right chord with a number of the faithful.
It was a remarkable day in many ways, as there was every reason for Wolves fans to be disappointed to not take at least a point from the game, but we got the telling goal as Glenn Murray made it 100 for the club, we made it three wins on the spin in the top-flight for the first time since 1981, Bruno became an assist elder statesman in the Premier League since Jussi Jaaskelainen back in 2014 and goalkeeper Maty Ryan made it three games without conceding a goal.
Huge win today . Weren’t pretty again but get spirt and determination to get the win. Main man @GM_83 at it again ⚽️. 3 wins 3 clean sheets happy days! Prayers out to Glenn hoddle that everything will be fine ????.

Duffy has been immense for the club since he signed from Blackburn Rovers and he’s quickly become a fan favourite – especially interacting post-game regardless of results and given the type of game it was, the reactions to his message were no surprise at all.
Beram, you were immense today, strong in the tackle. Again. #favouriteplayer

Superb again! I’ll take hard fought wins over pretty football and dropped points all day everyday…but then I’m not the one running myself ragged every week, cheers Shane!
