Brighton secured a win over Bristol City in the Championship on Tuesday.

The lead was secured inside 10-minutes by Jamie Murphy with that doubled not too long after, against his former side, by Sam Baldock to have Brighton two-up at the break with Tomer Hemed providing assists for both.

Ahead of the hour Hemed got his rewards with his ninth-goal of the season when he got onto the end of Beram Kayal’s pass to put the game beyond doubt with a deflected effort off Mark Little seeing him get an unwanted own goal with 15-minutes left.

Bristol City’s misery was complete when Kieran Agard saw his penalty hit the crossbar in injury-time as they sought a consolation goal.
