On loan Chelsea attacker Izzy Brown is relishing Brighton’s trip to former club Huddersfield Town this weekend.

Having been on loan with David Wagner’s side for the second half of last season, he made 20 appearances for the club scoring five times as they secured promotion along with us into the Premier League, and making the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium this weekend, Brown is hoping to be involved and see a few familiar faces.

Speaking to the Official Site as he met with the media this week to discuss the game, Brown explained.

‘That`s a big one for me from a personal perspective, and the team as well. The fans still think fondly of me, but my focus is here now – I had a good half of a season there and the promotion at Wembley was a great day for me and my family. We know it`s big because of our tough matches over ecent weeks, but we`ll be going there looking to win and get the three points. We`ve been in the top half for a while now which surpassed expectations and now we want to get back there as soon as we can.’

With our four game home unbeaten run coming to an end against Liverpool last weekend in the five one defeat, Brown had praise for the opposition on the day.

‘A team of their quality always takes their chances – they`re so quick and sharp and that was the difference between us and them on Saturday. We`ve done well in the first stages of the game, but we conceded from a set-play and then they were clinical.’

With Brown’s start against Liverpool being his third in the Premier League, Brown went on to say.

‘I`ve played against some of the best teams in the world and I`m grateful for that – I can`t have any complaints about not starting either, because all the boys have been great and have picked up good results as well. To start was great for me, because I`ve been working hard and I haven`t let my head drop. I thought my overall performance was good and I made some good crosses, but I`m upset at the result. It`s been a tough team to get into and hopefully now I`ve put some thoughts in the manager`s head before Saturday’s game.’
