Brighton skipper Bruno has said he feels everybody can be happy with the progress we have made over the pre season campaign as we head towards our final friendly of the summer against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

Speaking to the Official Site Bruno spoke about the pre season campaign and the way that our new signings have settled into the club and he feels everything is positive ahead of the final warm up game and he’s relishing the season to come.

‘It`s been really good to be honest, and the new players have fitted into the group so easily. It was quite easy with them, because of their characters. One of the things the club do when they are going to sign a player, is check their personalities, and they have been unbelievable. Their characters, their personalities, are like all of us. We know it is going to be a really hard test and we know their quality. We know the manager and it is going to be a really good test for them as well.’

Bruno went on to speak specifically about the progress of Markus Suttner and Izzy Brown since their arrivals.

‘For me there were a few differences. What isn`t a foul in England may be a foul in Germany, France or Spain. You need to get used to it, and there`s a few things you need to change, but he`s a clever footballer and I think he will be very good for us. Izzy is a really good player, and he now needs to prove himself in the Premier League. That`s the next step for him and I think he is going to help us a lot. I`m just hoping he is going to have a great season.’
