The recently postponed Brighton game at the Amex Stadium – a victim of the weather – left Albion without a game to end last year, not too much fun for most but there wasn’t a lot that could be done about it really was there!

Despite the best efforts thick fog meant the proposed Brighton hosting of Cardiff last month was called-off but a new date has now been arranged and confirmed by both clubs.

Brighton will try again at the Amex once more to face Cardiff in a midweek game in a couple of weeks with it announced as taking place on Tuesday 24th January with this having a 7:45pm kick-off.

The Official Website also confirmed that a new date for the scheduled meeting with Newcastle on January 28th will be needed too owing to our continued involvement in the FA Cup.

I’m fairly certain that Amex meeting would have been changed for the TV cameras anyway as Sky Sports wouldn’t want to miss out on this huge promotion clash, which will probably be shown on the box on it’s new date anyway!

All the tickets details – and confirmed Newcastle date – will be revealed shortly.
