Chris Hughton’s already said he’s not, at this stage, in any hurry to move into the transfer market to bring in any players to boost the Albion squad in a loan capacity now that he could if he wanted to.

He’s also, as quoted by the Argus today, said he’s not in an immediate hurry to loan out any players either!

Those, if he did, that could be most in need, or should that be ‘at risk’ of leaving – depending on which way you look at it – would be Adrian Colunga you feel and perhaps Danny Holla.

If we get to the point where we feel it’ll be ‘good value in getting somebody out for a month of games’ this could be something Albion ‘would very much think about’ but for now this isn’t in the mind of Hughton.

Colunga, who hasn’t featured for Hughton since January, could ‘fall into that category’ of player who could benefit from going out on loan along with ‘one or two others.’

Hughton said.

‘At the moment it’s not something very high on my priority list. I am fortunate we have got a good training group, a motivated group at the moment, and I’m not desperate to get anybody out.

‘But it’s normal to assess that as time goes on. If we stay injury free then it’s certainly something we would think about.

‘He (Colunga) might possibly fall into that category and there might be one or two others but at the moment I’m quite happy.’

You don’t tend to think that the Spaniard has a future at the Amex Stadium does he, but having seen a return to Spain fail to happen before the end of the transfer window you also tend to feel he’ll remain an Albion player until January at least even if he was made available for loan!
