If, and probably not when, this does happen it’s expected Dutchmen Elvis Manu (signed from Feyenoord) and Danny Holla (who arrived from Den Haag) will return to their homeland this summer according to the Argus.

Chris Hughton’s made it clear, despite both remaining under contract with Brighton, they’ll not have a future at the club under him and are therefore expected to be among those exiting the Amex Stadium this summer with a number of players already released at the end of their contracts.

Further Albion departures will come to make way for those Hughton looks to bring in.

Manu, who was signed for £1.5m last summer, does still have two-years on his existing contract with Brighton, who would be looking for a fee you feel, but he hasn’t yet started a match for us in the Championship. The likelihood is he’ll not do this either.

After a disappointing loan spell with Championship rivals Huddersfield last season the 22-year-old is expected to return to Dutch football possibly signing for Excelsior, who have previously had him on loan.

Sami Hyypia brought Holla to Brighton, with him starting promisingly enough, but since Hughton’s arrival the 28-year-old has barely featured.

The 28-year-old, who was limited to just one appearances last season way back in October, is likely to leave Albion on a free transfer despite having a year left on his deal.

It’ll be in the best interests of all concerned if we saw a parting of ways over the summer wouldn’t it?
