Brighton skipper Gordon Greer has found himself called into the Scotland squad again for their upcoming fixtures at the end of March.

Scotland take on Northern Ireland in a friendly game on Wednesday March 25 at Hampden Park before then hosting Gibraltar in a European Qualifier on Sunday March 29.

Greer last represented his country back in October’s draw against Poland and that was his first competitive international start for them, and his fifth cap in total.

He has since then been an unused substitute in the matches against England and Republic of Ireland.

Fellow defender Aaron Hughes has also been called up by Northern Ireland so the two could face off against each other in the friendly game.

Hughes has nearly 100 caps for his country and has been an ever present in their European Qualification campaign, helped them to second place in Group F – one point behind the leaders Romania.

Their second game of the international window is a qualifier against Finland.
