Peterborough, Huddersfield, Bournemouth Southampton and even MK Dons and Leyton Orient keep on winning, thankfully so are we.
Something has to give or this season is threatening to require a huge points total to guaruntee automatic promotion.
All of the top teams appear to have the quality, squads and tenacity to maintain their promotion push and I certainly pray we secure automatic promotion because the prospect of the play offs this season is somewhat daunting.
There is no disputing Albions points tally and performances to date and I believe that we thoroughly deserve to be where we are. But the play offs are a complete lottery where form and ability get thrown out of the window.
I think we can stay the distance, getting points from our last few March fixtures will be crucial to this. The good form of our rivals certainly ramps up the pressure and leads me to believe that 90 points is now the new target, 4 more points than the 86 that I thought would be enough at the end of February.
Everyone will drop points especially when they face each other, thankfully Albion face Southampton and Huddersfield at home with the tough away games being against sides the wrong end of the table.
So as Albion travel to face Oldham, avoiding defeat is paramount, sir Gus has set a two point a game average for his team, win your home games and draw your away fixtures will acheive this target.
