The Football Association have in their wisdom decided to ban Brighton striker Tomer Hemed following the game against Newcastle United.

Despite appealing the charge that was levied at him, the FA panel rejected that appeal and have subsequently banned him for upcoming games against Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United.

The club themselves state they will be making no further comment at this stage, but no doubt manager Chris Hughton will express his disappointment when he meets with the media ahead of the game this weekend.
