Brighton are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Tomer Hemed in the four nil victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Tuesday evening at Huish Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Hemed was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Brighton bounced back from their weekend disappointment in style, crushing Bristol City at Ashton Gate to further underline their promotion credentials. Hemed was in fine form in the Tuesday night triumph, scoring one and creating two in the comfortable 4-0 victory.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Hemed for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.

Full Team:

Jamie Stephens (Barnet), Andrew Robertson (Hull City), Paul Robinson (Wimbledon), Ashley Eastham (Rochdale), Cameron Dummigan (Oldham Athletic), John Swift (Brentford), Liam Walsh (Yeovil Town), Rommy Boco (Accrington Stanley), Gaston Ramirez (Middlesbrough), Jordan Bowery (Oxford United), Tomer Hemed (Brighton).

Manager – John Sheridan (Oldham Athletic).
