Brighton are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Tomer Hemed in the five nil victory over Fulham at the weekend at the Amex Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Hemed was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Hemed`s hat-trick inspired Brighton to a 5-0 victory over Fulham on Friday night. His treble, added to by goals from Bruno and Anthony Knockaert, helped maintain the Seagulls` push for the Sky Bet Championship title.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Hemed for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.

Full Team:

Alex Revell (MK Dons), Alex Baptiste (Sheffield United), Andy Butler (Doncaster Rovers), Paul Robinson (Wimbledon), George Boyd (Burnley), Jon Taylor (Peterborough United), Josh Windass (Accrington Stanley), Luke Williams (Scunthorpe United), Jordan Rhodes (Middlesbrough), Joe Pigott (Luton Town), Tomer Hemed (Brighton).

Manager – Adam Murray (Mansfield Town).
