Midfielder Rohan Ince headed out to Bury on a loan spell on Friday, and he made his debut for them in Saturday’s clash with Rochdale.
The 24 year old has headed to Gigg Lane on a deal that will expire at the end of the 2017/18 campaign, but Brighton can recall him during the January transfer window.
Speaking to the Official Site as the news was announced, manager Chris Hughton explained that the move was designed to get him more regular game time.
‘Rohan wants to play regularly and this is an opportunity which allows him to do that. It’s a move that benefits all three parties: the player, ourselves and Bury. Rohan impressed at that level in the second half of last season with Swindon, and also has good experience with both ourselves and Fulham at Championship level. We will keep a close eye on his progress.’
He spent time out on loan last season with Swindon Town where he made 14 appearances, scoring twice.
Ince started the game against Rochdale this weekend and got through all 90 minutes as Bury took a point.
