Brighton’s hopes of keeping former Chelsea man Rohan Ince at the Amex Stadium this summer could be difficult? Reports say that Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham and West Brom are all interested in the midfielder!

The Daily Mail says that it’s Liverpool that ‘lead the chase’ for him at the moment with his impressive performances for us since Gus Poyet brought the former Chelsea youth player to the club. It was under Oscar Garcia that he was most successfully converted from a central defender into the defensive midfielder he is now.

Ince had recently voiced a desire to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Chris Hughton also speaking highly of him but if these Premier League clubs are keeping an eye on him as claimed, with it said that all have ‘scouted him’ recently, we could struggle? More so as he’s close to moving into the final year of his contract!

Priority number one would be to get a new contract in front of him, and hopefully if he really does want to stay, and then get that signed as at least then we’ll be in a ‘stronger position’ when it comes to any transfer fee involved this summer, if these clubs are interested….
