Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Beram Kayal made his return to Scotland last night for the first time since arrival from Celtic back in the January of 2013/14.
The 30-year-old now has over 100 appearances to his name at the Amex and he’s played his part in helping us from the Championship into the Premier League but it’s fair to say he’s not prolific in front of goal.
Last night’s clash between Scotland and Israel saw the hosts take victory at Hampden Park, but Kayal did his best to steal the show as he opened the scoring in the ninth minute to register his second international goal in the space of seven years and it was a gorgeous long range effort.
👏🏻 Well done @BeramKayal7 – great strike. https://t.co/NBFrLsUC12

With Brighton retweeting Sky Sports’ footage of the goal on social media, fans were happy enough with his efforts on the night and not just his strike.

Fans will be hoping we see one or two of those at the Amex before the current season is out.
