Brighton are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Solly March in the Brighton win over Charlton on Saturday was enough to earn a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why March was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the Football League blurb read.

‘Brighton’s form this season has been remarkable, and so has that of young winger March.

‘The 21-year-old produced another superb display and was influential in the Seagulls’ late comeback as they defeated Charlton Athletic 3-2, preserving their unbeaten start to the Sky Bet Championship season.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to March for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the Brighton win.

Full Team – Dimi Konstantopoulos (Middlesbrough), Scott Malone (Cardiff City), Matt Mills (Nottingham Forest), Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers), Nedum Onuoha (Queens Park Rangers), Solly March (Brighton & Hove Albion), Jack Price (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Alan Judge (Brentford), Sean Scannell (Huddersfield Town), Chris Wood (Leeds United), Will Keane (Preston North End).

Manager – David Wagner (Huddersfield Town).
