The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Brentford this Friday.

Brighton host Brentford on Friday February 5 for the game at the Amex Stadium and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Keith Stroud
Linesmen: Dean Treleaven and Marc Wilson
Fourth Official: James Linington

Match Day referee Stroud (Hampshire) has officiated two Brighton games this season – the one nil victory over Nottingham Forest back in August, and the three two victory over Charlton in December. In those games he showed 13 yellow cards and one red, seven of the yellows to Brighton.

He has however already taken in 31 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a massive total of 134 yellow cards and eight red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Derby County and Queens Park Rangers on November 3 with a total of eight yellow cards being shown, along with one red card. He also showed nine yellow cards in the game between West Bromwich Albion and Port Vale in the Capital One Cup on August 25 and seven yellows with two reds in the Leeds v Rotherham match on November 21.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
