The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Brentford on Boxing Day.

Brighton travel to Brentford on Saturday December 26 for the game at Griffin Park and the match carries a 1pm kick off.

Referee: Darren Deadman
Linesmen: Gavin Muge and Nicholas Cooper
Fourth Official: Nicholas Kinseley

Match Day referee Deadman (Cambridgeshire) has officiated one Brighton game this season – the two one win over Leeds in October. In that game he showed two yellow cards, both to Brighton.

He has however already taken in seventeen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 52 yellow cards and one red card.

He was most card happy in the match between Wycombe Wanderers and Hartlepool United on September 5 with a total of four yellows being shown and one red. The game between Barnsley and Gillingham on September 26, Colchester v Port Vale on October 20 and Wigan v Shrewsbury on November 21 also saw five yellow cards shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
