The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Burnley this weekend.

Brighton travel to Burnley on Sunday November 22 for the game at Turf Moor and the match carries a 1.15pm kick off.

Referee: Simon Hooper
Linesmen: William Smallwood and Steven Meredith
Fourth Official: Tony Harrington

Match Day referee Hooper (Wiltshire) has officiated one Brighton game this season – the one nil victory over Hull back in September. In that game he showed five yellows cards, three to Brighton.

He has however already taken in seventeen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 42 yellow cards and one red card.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Hull on September 12 with a total of five yellows being shown. He also showed five yellows in the match between Charlton and Preston and then Brentford and Queens Park Rangers in October.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
