The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Cardiff City this Saturday.

Brighton travel to Cardiff City on Saturday December 3 for the game at the Cardiff City Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Roger East
Linesmen: Mark Scholes and Mark Pottage
Fourth Official: John Busby

Match Day referee East has taken in 12 games so far in 2016/17 with a return of 49 yellow cards and four red cards.

His highest card count this season was eight yellow cards in the Oxford v Millwall match.

He took charge of 39 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 119 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday in May with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
