The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Charlton Athletic this weekend.

Brighton host Charlton Athletic on Saturday December 5 for the game at the Amex Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Keith Stroud
Linesmen: Andrew Turner and Sam Purkiss
Fourth Official: Lee Collins

Match Day referee Stroud (Hampshire) has officiated one Brighton game this season – the one nil victory over Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the Championship campaign. In that game he showed six yellow cards, four to Brighton.

He has however already taken in twenty other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 80 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Derby County and Queens Park Rangers on November 3 with a total of eight yellow cards being shown, along with one red card. He also showed nine yellow cards in the game between West Bromwich Albion and Port Vale in the Capital One Cup on August 25 and seven yellows with two reds in the Leeds v Rotherham match on November 21.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
