The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Middlesbrough this weekend.

Brighton travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday May 7 for the game at the Riverside Stadium and the match carries a 12.30pm kick off.

Referee: Michael Dean
Linesmen: Simon Long and Ian Hussin
Fourth Official: Darren Drysdale

Match Day referee Dean is yet to officiate a Brighton game this season.

He has however already taken in 38 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 125 yellow cards and eleven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Chelsea and Arsenal on September 19 with a total of six yellows being shown and two reds. He also showed six yellows in December’s Watford v Norwich game, and Aston Villa v West Ham’s match.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
