The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Stevenage this Tuesday.

Brighton’s Under 23 side travel to Stevenage on Tuesday October 4 for the Football League Trophy/Checkatrade Trophy tie at the Lamex Stadium and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Nick Kinseley
Linesmen: Ian Rathbone and Michael Webb
Fourth Official: Ashvin Degnarain

Brighton are one of the 16 Category One Academy sides taking part in the competition this season on a trial basis.

Match Day referee Kinseley has officiated eight games in 2016/17 with a return of 27 yellow cards and one red card.

He took in 28 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 70 yellow cards and nine red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Plymouth and Accrington Stanley on October 17 with a total of six yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
