Brighton’s final game of the 2015/16 Championship campaign against Middlesbrough will be screened live by Sky Sports.

With Burnley securing their automatic Play Off spot, and both Middlesbrough and Brighton knowing the final automatic spot rests on the result of this match, it’s no surprise to see Sky pick the game up really.

The match will still kick off on Saturday May 7 at 12.30pm, but as well as the organised beamback of the match at the Amex Stadium, it will now be available to a wider audience.

A win for Brighton guarantees Premier League football for next season but it does need to be all three points owing to Middlesbrough’s greater goal advantage.

The club have also confirmed that it will be the ‘volt’ all yellow with black trim strip for the game.

Superstition maybe, but our only previous promotion to the top flight was also clinched in the north east back in 1979 where we came out as three one winners over Newcastle United – and we were wearing all yellow that day.
