Brighton moved another point towards safety with our point from the nil-nil draw against Millwall at the Den on Tuesday much more useful to us than it was our host who are without a win on home soil since October! They are without a win at all since February 10th.

We might not have won too many of these games, and haven’t won away from the Amex Stadium in almost two-month, but we’ve now lost only two of our last nine-matches.

O’Brien could have given Millwall an early lead before Millwall ‘keeper Forde’s ‘rush of blood’ saw him race from his goal to challenge Mackail-Smith, he rounded the ‘keeper but lost control and the chance was gone.

Millwall had the better of the chances, mostly half chances, with Williams going close with a 25-yard freekick with Best making Forde save with Millwall again having a chance before the break that O’Brien didn’t take.

Forde was beaten by Villa loanee Bennett but his curling freekick hit the Millwall bar with Best heading wide another good chance as the game, with Millwall generally the more threatening, ending goalless.

Who was your Brighton MotM from this game? This is what the poll to your right is asking!
