Alan Navarro has joined the first team squad for warm ups in training, as he continues his comeback from cruiciate knee ligament damage.

The 29 year old was a permanent fixture in the side at the end of last season and beginning of this season, before injury struck in the League Cup game at Northampton in August.

He has been sidelined ever since, going through a lonely rehabilitation programme, but today linked up with the squad at training for the first time since he sustained that horrific injury.

Navarro, who is out of contract in the summer, had pencilled in the game on 29th February as his comeback match. That would be against his former team, MK Dons and would give him almost 6 more weeks to get fit.

Fans favourite Navarro, still has a long way to go to add to his 37 appearances for The Seagulls. He has yet to join first team training sessions, but could make good use of the recently postponed Reserve Team fixtures in the coming weeks if he is to be fit in time to face his former club at Stadium MK.
