Oliver Norwood’s not expected to feature for Brighton this season with an Amex Arena exit on the cards.

In fact Sky Sports is reporting a transfer to Fulham is ‘close’ now that he’s come through his medical ahead of a proposed loan at Craven Cottage.

‘Brighton midfielder Oliver Norwood has passed his medical ahead of a season-long loan move to Fulham,’ said Sky.

Manchester United academy graduate Norwood, 26, came to Brighton last season, when leaving Reading and penning a three year deal at the Amex but his Premier League chance, which didn’t come at Old Trafford, doesn’t look as if it’ll come with Albion either.

The Northern Ireland international was involved in 33 of the 46 Championship fixtures last season helping Brighton to the topflight.
