Their lead at the top is an impressive 16 points ahead of second placed Southampton. The Saints can only get a maximum of 92 points if they win all their remaining 6 games, including an Easter visit to Withdean. With Poyet’s men sitting pretty with 90 points, just 3 more points is enough to see them crowned as Champions.
The Seagulls have won an impressive 27 games in the league, more than any other team in the country, and one more victory on the road at 20th placed Walsall, will see the champagne corks being popped open again.
