Making the trip up to the Etihad Stadium at the weekend to face Manchester City, the hosts took a 2-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion to leave the travelling fans with away day disappointment once more.
12 away trips without a goal and 17 without a win are what the form book says for manager Chris Hughton and whilst it is a growing concern at the club, this isn’t the game to really overreact to and in fairness, it appears most are happy to take the small positives for the obvious reasons.
The sooner we start rectifying our results away from home the better though but that won’t come as news to anyone.
Beram Kayal lined up in midfield fresh from signing his new deal earlier in the week and the 30-year-old took to social media to give his brief thoughts on the match.
Disappointed to lose, but we were up against a top team today. Looking forward to the next game against West Ham … and delighted to be staying here until 2020 #bhafc @OfficialBHAFC pic.twitter.com/NSLAtq91ft

Great hustle today Beram. Thought you were one of the hardest workers out there.

Remember your first goal for us against Forrest I think. Your passion and determination was obvious from the start. #bhafc

We only lost by the same margin as Chelsea and Arsenal so no shame there.

As the above responses show, it went over well with the fanbase on Twitter and the Israeli international came in for a fair bit of praise following his own efforts across the 90 minutes.
On to West Ham now and hopefully, a victory.
