Brighton make the fairly short trip up to third place Leyton Orient tomorrow in an earlier scheduled kick-off time of 12:30pm due to the game being covered live by Sky Sports.

Orient have impressed so far this season and are just one place off the automatic promotion places. Their rise up the table this season has caught many by surprise.

The Albion will be hoping to continue our good run of form which has seen us lose just once from our last 11 games in all competitions. We will also be looking to record our first win in front of the Sky Sports cameras since we beat Leicester 1-0 away in 2004.

Vital Quotes:

Leyton Orient Team News:

Midfielder Sean Thornton is back in contention for the starting line up after impressing in Orient’s reserve team. Former target Jabo Ibehre could also be back in the starting side in place of Wayne Gray.

Player to watch: Adam Boyd

He was one of the bargains of the summer in League One when Orient snapped him up on a free transfer from Luton. He’s continued his very impressive goal record in the third tier previously with Hartlepool by scoring 6 goals so far in the league this season.

Brighton & Hove Albion Team News:

Brighton go into the game with a fairly clean bill of health. Tommy Elphick could return to the side after a successful few days of training after picking up a groin injury last Saturday.

Guy Butters and Joel Lynch are also challenging for first team places after doing well in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Cheltenham.

Andrew Whing serves a one match ban for collecting 5 yellow cards whilst last weeks FA Cup goal hero Doug Loft is ruled out with an ankle injury. Adam El-Abd is likely to replace Whing at right back.

Player to watch: Nicky Forster

He’s scored 4 goals in his last 4 games for the first team and will be hoping to now extend this run of form after a slow start to the season.

Match Facts & Stats

Brighton won both league encounters between the two sides 4-1 last season.
